Health Happenings Week 12: 33 Pounds Down
Week 12 of Health Happenings, forging the gold medal body with Zac Spinosa from Forge Fitness. Zac's not in the room with me again because the pandemic health happenings continue. We've been working together virtually for five or six weeks now.
Confession: the rice
This week we had a pile of leftover rice and ate it for a couple of days. Rice isn't terrible. But the rice I've been eating lately is wild rice and whole grains. This was white rice, probably with some oil for flavour and deliciousness. Extra calories. I knew it going in.
The weigh-in
We started at 251.8 and today I'm at 218.2 pounds. That's roughly 33 pounds down, and another two pounds gone this week. Zac and I were both doing the math out loud on camera, which as you know is not my strong suit.
Six-second sprints
This week Zac had me do ten sprints at 100% effort, but only six seconds each. I took it outside with Alright Robyn on the timer and worked on the form fixes Zac gave me last week.
You inspire me too
People keep messaging me saying I've inspired them. What they may not realize is that they're inspiring me right back, telling me what's working for them and giving me ideas to change up my foods. I love it all.
Next week: the final test
Next week is the end of the three months. We'll redo the push-ups, the wall sit and all the measurements, plus a final weigh-in. Watch this episode for my push-up attempt, and stay tuned for the big comparison.
