Joe heads to his favourite Wainfleet event, JoeMama’s HoeDown! Follow along for your behind the scenes view of this one of a kind event.
What Is This JoeMomma’s HoeDown?
Joanne (Jo) is mother to some (Chad, Nathan, Katie and Nannette) and motherly to everyone else (Momma). She happens to love hosting a summer hoedown for her friends and family and raising money for Ronald McDonald House Hamilton. Plus she owns a Party Barn, which if left unused becomes just a regular old barn and nobody wants that.
Jo Momma wanted to create a special event that could bring our friends, family and community together in an incredibly unique way, that everyone could look forward to year after year. It’s a chance for Jo Momma to show her gratitude to all the great people who are part of her life. The Hoedown wouldn’t happen without everyone who comes out, dresses up and brings a potluck dish to share. Check out the event’s page for more info on this yearly event here.
An All Day Event With Food, Fun And Friends JoeMama’s HoeDown
JoeMama’s HoeDown is a potluck affair. Everyone involved brings a dish to share amongst the group. This is the 7th annual HoeDown and it sure did not disappoint. Scheduled activities for the whole family such as horseshoes, potato sack race, and tug of war are enjoyed by the adults. While a bounce house and obstacle course are enjoyed by the kids….and Joe. With everyone bringing a dish, the food was endless. Each families signature dish and good old bbq favourites made this day even better.
