Anthony Di Filippo of Roma Bakery

Anthony Di Filippo from Roma Bakery in Stoney Creek came out to Wainfleet just a couple of weeks after I reviewed their pizza. Roma is a legend, and I'm always a little nervous reviewing places like that. Anthony reached out, wanted to set the record straight, and we hit it off.

• The review. Anthony had no idea I was there. We talk about how they took it and the conversations it started.
• Growing up in the family business. Anthony has worked there since he was a kid, with a serious role for the last several years.
• Feeding a crowd. Why Roma's pizza is a go-to for fundraisers, staff events and big gatherings at a fair price.
• Is it pizza? The great debate, and why Anthony lets people argue about it.
• Breakfast. Six ounces of extra lean ground beef and an ounce of mixed nuts. His sister finds it cringey.
