The Wainfleet Hockey Arena
Located on Park Street in the centre of the Township of Wainfleet, sits the Wainfleet Hockey Arena. Home to the Wainfleet Skating Club and Wainfleet Minor hockey. In winter months the arena offers hockey, figure skating, CanSkate programs and several opportunities to just get out there for a fun skate. Enjoy a hot chocolate and some snacks at the snack bar just off the ice. In the summer months, you can find the Arena to be an integral part of the Marshville Heritage Festival and the Wainfleet Fall Fair.
The Wainfleet Skating Club teaches individuals of all ages skating skills from beginner to advanced. A love of skating is fostered in a supportive, friendly and fun environment.
The Wainfleet Wild and Wainfleet Minor Hockey also calls the arena home. Ranging from Tyke to Juvenile, the minor hockey association promotes a love of hockey within boys and girls in the community.
Not into organized sports, but still love to skate? Come on out to one of the public skating sessions the Wainfleet Arena offers. Check out the available times here and pack up the family for a fun afternoon.

No, it’s Joe on skates he bought especially for today. Joe’s feet haven’t seen the ice in an arena in years. Is it really like remembering how to ride a bike? Robyn looks a bit shaky in the beginning, but quickly gets back into the groove. Joe looks like he’s about to take a tumble when he first steps on the ice, but, surprisingly, he picks it right back up too. That gold jacket has seen more adventures than most people have in their life times.
While we didn’t see any triple salchows from Robyn or any hat tricks from Joe, the couple and their families had a great afternoon at public skating at the Wainfleet Arena. Surprisingly, Joe didn’t even fall once.
