Dave Grand of 1NE Entertainment: Bringing Jelly Roll to Canada

Dave Grand from 1NE Entertainment Inc. is the man, the myth, the legend. He was a pivotal part of bringing Jelly Roll to Canada for the first time, at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines on Monday, July 8.

What we talked about

• Landing a big name. How the show came together months in advance.
• Giving back. Dave partnered the event with the Heather Winter Foundation and the Native Friendship Centre in Fort Erie.
• Picking artists. Can you build an event around them? Does it make money? Are they good enough?
• Future ideas. Including something on the beach.
• Two different businesses. Real estate deals with big money and big emotions. Concerts do too, just differently.

Thanks, Dave, for bringing big shows to Niagara.
